Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney may be fighting former Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA) for the top spot in the Michigan Republican primary, but Romney is still up in Arizona’s winner-take-all contest on the same date. Arizona will vote on February 28th, and new numbers from Rasmusen show Romney leading with 39 percent of GOPers polled, Santorum with 31, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich at 15 and Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) at 7.

“70% of Arizona GOP primary voters are already certain of their vote, while just 26% say they still could change their minds. Those certain of their vote include 78% of Romney supporters, 76% of Gingrich voters, 69% of Santorum’s backers and 60% of Paul’s,” Rasmussen wrote. “Primary voters in the state also believe by far that Romney is going to be the GOP nominee and has the best chance of defeating the president.”
