A new poll from Rasmussen shows former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney with a nine point lead in the state’s Republican primary before the March 20th vote. Romney gets 42 percent, former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum sees 32, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich 14 and Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) at seven.

But following Santorum’s wins in the Mississippi and Alabama primaries last Tuesday, the former senator may have some room to work in the last days of campaigning in the state. “Given that 32% of voters could still change their mind before Tuesday, this represents a potential opportunity for Santorum,” Rasmussen wrote in their analysis. “Most Gingrich supporters (55%) say they could still change their mind, and they overwhelmingly prefer Santorum over Romney in a two-man race.”
