Republican-leaning pollster Rasmussen has found a bounce for GOP nominee Mitt Romney after the first presidential debate. Their tracking poll of the national race, released Saturday morning, showed Romney with 49 percent to Obama’s 47 percent, a reverse from Friday’s finding of Obama with 49 percent to Romney’s 47.

The Rasmussen tracker is based on a three-day rolling average of 500 automated interviews a night, meaning its sample comes from Wednesday through Friday, and still contains some pre-debate numbers. Rasmussen pointed out that Saturday was the “first time Romney has been ahead by even a single point since mid-September.”

The PollTracker Average shows President Obama ahead by 2.3 percent nationally.
