Rand Paul Marks One Week Since Filibuster

A week removed from his 13-hour filibuster of the nomination of John Brennan to lead the CIA, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) on Wednesday insinuated that he’s just getting started.

On his Twitter feed, Paul reflected on the one-week anniversary of his filibuster while seemingly suggesting that another one is imminent.

A spokeswoman for Paul clarified to Politico that the tweet was meant as a joke.
