Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) suggested that the United States seems to have lost its mojo and wondered if it could ever get it back.

The comment came during a speech Paul delivered on Friday at the Values Voter Summit.

“Will we falter or will we thrive and rediscover our mojo?”

Paul went on to strongly criticize President Barack Obama’s handling on foreign policy and say if he had been president he would have called a joint session of Congress together in his steps to battle the Islamic State terrorist group.

Paul has strongly hinted that he plans to run for president in 2016.
