Following Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett’s win in the Wisconsin Democratic primary to challenge Gov. Scott Walker, the Progressive Change Campaign Committee is up with a new ad in Madison to remind voters of the protests last winter and the reason for the Walker recall. Called “Remember. Recall.,” the ad features Wisconsinites from the protests last winter discussing why they want to recall Walker.

The ad buy is for $30,000 on broadcast and cable in Madison including spots on the Colbert Report and the Sunday shows. PCCC intends to expand the ad buy and air several ads in the lead-up to the recall on June 5. “When Scott Walker declared war on working families, Wisconsin inspired America by fighting back,” PCCC co-founder Adam Green said in a statement. “This ad is a reminder of how that fight started — and it encourages folks across Wisconsin to finish the job.”
