The Progressive Change Campaign Committee (PCCC) launched a new ad Thursday that will seek to pressure Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) to oppose cuts to Social Security, CNN reported.

Kirk Gillenwaters, an employee at a Louisville, Ky. Ford plant, stars in the ad.

“When Sen. Mitch McConnell supports cutting Social Security, he’s breaking a promise – and he’s hurting our families,” Gillenwaters said in the ad.

PCCC said it is spending $21,000 on the ad, which will begin running Thursday and into next week in the Louisville market.
