Restore Our Future, the super PAC backing Mitt Romney, released a new ad Monday touting Romney’s economic record and attacking Obama. The group has put $10.5 million behind the ad, CNN reports.

“Mitt Romney spent his life in the private sector, creating thousands of jobs,” the narrator says in the ad. “Barack Obama wasted $800 billion on a failed stimulus and the jobless rate went up. Romney cut spending and balanced budgets without raising taxes. Obama has added $5 trillion in debt. Proven leadership to fix the economy. Mitt Romney.”

The ad will air in 11 battleground states, per CNN: Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin.

The super PAC is trying to keep the economy the central issue of the campaign, the Romney campaign has recently focused its ads on welfare, Medicare and the tone of the Obama campaign.
