Public Policy Polling (D) released its final Florida Republican primary numbers on Monday night, which have shown the same result over last few days — former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney with a sizable lead before Tuesday’s vote. Romney gets 39 percent of the GOP electorate polled, followed by former House Speaker Newt Gingrich at 31, former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum at 15 and Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) at 11.

Polling over the last few days as consistently seen Romney with around a ten point lead, with some surveys showing an even larger margin. Our TPM Poll Average of the race has Romney ahead with a 10.3 percent advantage.

“At the end of the day in Florida we’re right back where we started,” said Dean Debnam, President of Public Policy Polling in a release. “Romney was always seen as a solid favorite in the state and for all the twists and turns over the last six months it looks like he’ll win a good sized victory tomorrow just as was expected all along.”
