Polls have now closed in most of Indiana, in the heated Republican Senate primary between longtime incumbent Sen. Dick Lugar and state Treasurer Richard Mourdock.
Indiana is mostly in the Eastern Time Zone, with the exception of two clusters of counties near Evansville in the south, and Gary in the northwest. Those remaining counties’ polls close an hour later.
Results will reflect precincts that have closed — but there will be no media projection of the race until all polls have closed.
