Democrat Tammy Baldwin and Republican Tommy Thompson are now in a dead heat for the Wisconsin Senate race.
Baldwin and Thompson are tied at 47 percent in a new Quinnipiac poll commissioned by CBS and the New York Times. The survey of 1,485 likely voters was conducted Sept. 11-17, and has a 3 percent margin of error.
The PollTracker Average shows Baldwin leading 48.5 percent to 45.4 percent.
