The new Rasmussen poll of Montana shows Democratic Sen. Jon Tester continuing to narrowly trail his Republican opponent, Rep. Denny Rehberg.
The numbers: Rehberg 47%, Tester 44%. The survey of likely voters was conducted on April 2, and has a ±4.5% margin of error.
These figures are identical to Rasmussen’s previous poll from mid-February, which also had Rehberg ahead 47%-44%.
Tester was elected to the Senate in the 2006 Democratic wave, defeating incumbent three-term Republican Sen. Conrad Burns by a one-point margin.
