The New York City Democratic mayoral primary is currently in a three-way tie, according to the latest Quinnipiac poll released Wednesday.

City Council Speaker Christine Quinn has 19 percent of the votes, former U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner has 17 percent and former City Comptroller William Thompson is now in the pack with 16 percent.

This is a big change from last month’s Quinnipiac poll, when Quinn led with 25 percent of the votes, Weiner had 15 percent and Thompson had 10 percent. An NBC poll released Tuesday had Weiner topping Quinn by 5 percentage points, however.

All three of these Democrats, according to the Quinnipiac poll, would win in a head to head match-up against each of the top Republicans running for the seat.

The poll, conducted June 19 – 25, surveyed 1,238 New York City voters with a margin of error of 2.8 percentage points and 830 Democrats with a margin of error of 3.4 percentage points.
