Democratic challenger Elizabeth Warren has a strong lead over Republican Sen. Scott Brown in the Massachusetts Senate race, topping 50 percent support, according to a poll released Tuesday by Suffolk University.
Warren leads by 7 points, 53 percent to 46 percent. The survey of 600 likely voters was conducted Oct. 25-28, and has a 4 percent margin of error.
In the previous Suffolk poll from mid-September, Warren led by a narrower margin, 48 percent to 44 percent.
The PollTracker Average shows Warren ahead, 51 percent to 45.4 percent.
