Poll: Christie Cruising In N.J. Gov’s Race; Big Lead Among Women

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) is waltzing to a second term, according to a new poll released Thursday.

The latest survey from Quinnipiac University found Christie crushing his Democratic challenger, state Sen. Barbara Buono, 58 percent to 30 percent. Christie has the support of 62 percent of men and 56 percent of women. The two candidates are essentially split among Hispanics, with Buono claiming a narrow 43 percent to 41 percent edge.
