The citizens of Ohio aren’t very happy with House Speaker John Boehner, with only 20 percent saying they approve of the speaker’s job performance and 59 percent saying they disapprove, according to a Friday poll from Democratic-leaning firm Public Policy Polling.

That’s a pretty substantial fall from when PPP last polled Ohio on Boehner’s job performance last October. Back then, 33 percent approved and 46 percent disapproved.

PPP polled 551 Ohio voters via telephone from August 16 to 19. The margin of error is plus-or-minus 4.2 percent.
