Politico: Ryan Medicare Plan Won’t Touch Americans 55 And Older

Despite speculation that Rep. Paul Ryan’s new Medicare plan would include changes for people older than 55, Politico reported Tuesday evening that the plan likely won’t touch people in that age group:

Rep. Paul Ryan’s budget is now expected to exempt seniors 55 years old and above from his Medicare overhaul — despite his personal preference to raise that age to 56 — according to several GOP sources familiar with his plans.
