Planned Parenthood Votes, the super PAC affiliated with the women’s health organization, is sending out direct mail targeting women voters in Montana in order to paint Republican Senate candidate Denny Rehberg as extreme on women’s health issues. Two mailers going out this week are the third and fourth mailers from the group in Montana and will reach 45,000 households each, an indication of how important women voters are for Democrats in this race.
The mailers argue that Rehberg will “turn back the clock” on women’s health. The TPM PollTracker Average shows incumbent Democratic Sen. Jon Tester neck-and-neck with Rehberg, 43.3 percent to 43 percent, respectively.
