A member of the German “Pirate Party” who once called intellectual property protection “disgusting” in a podcast has published a new book, but good luck finding a free e-book copy of it online: Electronic versions of “Pirate Party” member Julia Schramm‘s new book “Click Me,” published by Albrecht Knaus Verlag, a Random House subsidiary, were circulated online and uploaded to the website Dropbox until the publisher contacted the website and demanded the hosted copy of the book be removed under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, German news outlet Der Spiegel reported Tuesday.

TPM has reached out to Schramm for comment on the staunch enforcement of copyright on her new book and awaits a response.
