President Barack Obama is shown receiving a briefing from Lisa Monaco, Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism, following the Friday night of capture of 19-year-old Boston Marathon bombing suspect  Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

Obama addressed the nation shortly after the capture and reflected on the past week, which also included a deadly industrial explosion in West, Texas.

“All in all, this has been a tough week,” he said, “but we’ve seen the character of our country once more. And as president, I am confident that we have the courage and the resilience and spirit to overcome these challenges and to go forward as one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
