Rick Perry began answering a question on 14th Amendment birthright citizenship for the children of illegal immigrants, by first circling back to Herman Cain’s prior answer on the economy.
Anderson Cooper objected that he would rather have Perry answer the question.
Perry shot back: “You get to ask the questions — I get to give the answers how I want to.”
After Perry continued his economic answer, Cooper again asked about whether Perry wanted to repeal the 14th Amendment in this capacity. And Perry did answer that no, he does not wish to do so.
