Paul: We Are ‘Dangerous’ — To The Status Quo And The Federal Reserve

During his address to supporters, Ron Paul reflected on how the media doesn’t give him enough credible attention.

“But I sort of have to chuckle when they describe you and me as being ‘dangerous.’ That’s one thing they are telling the truth — because we are dangerous, to the status quo of this country. And we will remain a danger to the Federal Reserve system as well!”

Paul then reflected that every so often in history, monetary policy will become a major issue. He then claimed credit that his campaign had, for the first time in modern politics, made the Federal Reserve a major issue — lambasting its establishment back in the 1910’s as a sneaky way to spend the people’s money without raising taxes, by instead depreciating the value of their money.
