President Barack Obama and his family arrived early Saturday morning in Honolulu, Hawaii for their holiday vacation.

Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama took some time to shake hands and greet services members upon their arrival at Honolulu’s Hickam Air Force Base, according to a pool report.

The first family is scheduled to return on Jan. 5 to Washington, D.C., according to the White House. There are no public events scheduled for their stay in Hawaii.
