President Barack Obama is expected to travel to Raleigh, N.C. on Wednesday in a push to promote manufacturing, the White House said.
Obama is scheduled to deliver remarks at North Carolina State University to “to announce new steps with the private sector to strengthen the manufacturing sector, boost advanced manufacturing, and attract good jobs with good wages that a growing middle class requires,” according to the White House. He is slated to speak at 1:05 p.m. ET.
Earlier in the day, the President is scheduled to tour Vacon, an electric motor parts company.
