President Obama took advantage of Illinois early voting and cast his ballot in Chicago on Monday.

“I’m so glad I can early vote,” he said when he got his ballot, according to the White House pool report.

After he cast his ballot, the president encouraged others to vote early.

“I love voting. Everybody in Illinois, early vote,” he said. “It’s a wonderful opportunity.”

Someone asked Obama who he voted for, according to the poll report.

“I can’t say that,” he responded. “This is the most important office of democracy, the office of citizenry.”
