The pro-Obama super PAC Priorities USA Action is adding $3 million to its ad offensive highlighting the layoffs that took place under Bain Capital and Mitt Romney, reports Politico. So far, the group has put out two ads featuring laid-off employees which are airing in key battleground states. The super PAC was in the middle of a $4 million ad campaign announced earlier this month.
While the Obama campaign and many Democrats argue that they are not attacking private equity but rather scrutinizing Romney’s business record, Priorities USA Action is continuing to make Bain a big part of the campaign.
