President Barack Obama will deliver a statement on Iraq at 12:30 PM, the White House announced on Thursday.

Obama’s statement will come after he meets with members of his national security team in the Situation Room, the White House said.

On Wednesday Obama met with the top four Congressional leaders to discuss Iraq and the increasing violence there by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
