President Obama said Friday that looming automatic spending cuts known as sequestration will have severe consequences on the economy and millions of middle class famillies.
“Not everyone will feel the pain right away,” Obama said after meeting with Congressional leaders at the White House. “The pain though will be real.”
“The longer these cuts remain in place the greater danger for our economy,” he added.
