President Obama’s basketball team won in his traditional Election Day game Tuesday, according to a  White House pool report with more details the game. There were two five-player teams with referees to call fouls. According to a fellow player and former Illinois Senate candidate Alexi Giannoulias, Obama’s team won by “like 20” points.

The teams: Obama was player-coach of his team, which also included Giannoulias and Scottie Pippen. On the other team were Arne Duncan, Marty Nesbitt and Randy Brown.

“It was a lot of fun,” Giannoulias said. “We won. I scored more points than Scottie Pippen, which was my dream come true.”

Giannoulias said Potus “played very well” but did not say how many points he scored. Giannoulias scored 32, he said, and Pippen 21.

After the game, Obama returned to his Chicago home.
