President Obama connected Mitt Romney to the Bush administration, during a period in the foreign policy debate as it veered into domestic economic policy.
“Now, Gov. Romney has taken a different approach throughout this campaign. Both at home and abroad, he has proposed wrong and reckless policies,” said Obama.
“He’s praised George Bush as a good economic steward, and Dick Cheney as someone who shows great wisdom and judgment. And taking us back to those kind of strategies that got us in this mess, that’s not how we’re going to maintain leadership.”
