President Barack Obama said Thursday during a press conference in Senegal that the United States will not conduct extraordinary measures to track down Edward Snowden, the former government contractor who leaked details of the National Security Agency’s top secret surveillance programs.

“I’m not going to be scrambling jets to get a 29-year-old hacker,” Obama said, according to CNN.

Obama actually got Snowden’s age wrong, but only barely. The NSA leaker turned 30 last Friday.
