At a White House event Friday aimed at promoting Obamacare, President Obama vowed that the health care law will be implemented in full and urged Americans not to be “bamboozed” by “misinformation” from its political opponents.

“The law is here to stay,” he said.

The president touted the many benefits under the law — for seniors, women, low-income Americans, sick people and families with children. “You’re benefiting from it,” he said. “You just may not know it.”

“We’ve still got a lot of work to do,” Obama said, promising to overcome “mistakes and hiccups” in implementation. “This is going to be a lot of work. … There’s been so much misinformation. … That misinformation will continue at least through the next election.”

“Make sure you know what the actual facts are, because you stand to benefit if you’re not already benefiting from this thing,” Obama said. “Don’t be bamboozled.”
