Obama Campaign Transfers Supporter Database To New Advocacy Group

President Barack Obama’s campaign arm has handed over its trove of of personal data on millions of registered voters to a new advocacy group founded to help promote the administration’s policy goals and agenda, NBC News reported Monday.

Formally launched earlier this month, Organizing for Action has been granted access to the database under a leasing agreement with the campaign organization, according to NBC.
