Obama Camp: President Didn’t Approve That Eastwood Response Tweet

CHARLOTTE — OFA campaign manager Jim Messina said in an ABC/Yahoo News forum that it was a staffer who tweeted out a photo of President Obama sitting in a chair after Clint Eastwood’s convention speech, a jab at his use of an empty chair to represent Obama. 

As for the DNC, deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter says “there won’t be a chair, no. No gimmicks.”
