The Obama released a web video Monday, continuing an attack against Mitt Romney over the Republican nominee’s assertion that we don’t need to hire more teachers, firefighters, and cops. The video features Massachusetts lawmakers and officials talking about how the public sector suffered under Romney in Massachusetts.

In response to President Obama’s proposal to hire more public sector workers, Mitt Romney objected to increased government spending to increase hiring.”He wants another stimulus, he wants to hire more government workers,” Romney said. “He says we need more firemen, more policemen, more teachers. Did he not get the message of Wisconsin? The American people did. It’s time for us to cut back on government and help the American people.”

The quote is repeated in the video.
