The Obama campaign is up with a new web video Thursday morning going after Mitt Romney’s record as governor of Massachusetts. The video begins with Romney’s promises of on the trail both during his 2002 run for governor and his current presidential campaign. The video then delves into interviews with Massachusetts lawmakers about his tenure. The gist is that Romney  essentially did not carry through on his campaign promise to jumpstart job growth, reduce the deficit and cut taxes. “It didn’t work in Massachusetts and it’s not gonna work in Washington,” says former North Adams mayor John Barrett.
