On the sixth anniversary of ‘Romneycare,’ the Obama campaign released a 3-minute video highlighting the similarities between ‘Romneycare’ and ‘Obamacare’ — attacking Mitt Romney for backing away from his own plan by promising to get rid of national health care reform. The video pits Romney as putting politics over the health of Americans by promising to repeal a reform he put in place in his own state. The video features interviews from “John McDonough, an architect of Massachusetts health care reform and the Affordable Care Act; Jonathan Gruber, consultant to both the Romney and Obama administrations; and Madelyn Rhenisch, the first Massachusetts resident to enroll in Romneycare.”
