Obama Assesses National Preparedness On Sept. 11 Anniversary

On the eve of the eleventh anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks, President Obama on Monday heard from national security officials to review the nation’s state of preparedness and security measures currently in place in case of domestic terrorism, according to a White House readout of the meeting.

Obama “reiterated that Departments and agencies must do everything possible to protect the American people, both at home and abroad,” read the statement.
