Obama Appearance Gives ‘The Late Show’ Its Best Overnight Rating Since February 2010

President Obama’s appearance on “The Late Show with David Letterman” gave the program its best rating since February 2010, CBS announced on Wednesday. From the network’s release

In New York, on CBS Owned Station WCBS-TV, the LATE SHOW delivered 495,000 viewers and a 2.6 rating in adults 25-54, making it the most-watched episode of THE LATE SHOW in New York since Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008 and highest-rated episode in adults 25-54 since Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2006.

 

In addition to New York, the LATE SHOW also ranked first in its time period in viewers on CBS Owned Stations in Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Boston, Minneapolis, Sacramento, Pittsburgh and Baltimore.
