Oakland Raiders Owner Dies

Al Davis, the owner of the Oakland Raiders, died Saturday, the team said on its website. He was 82.

Davis was part of professional football for six decades, and he first came to the Raiders in 1963. Since then, the team has had 28 winning seasons and won three Super Bowl championships.

Davis was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1992.
