Former Delaware GOP Senate candidate and tea party darling Christine O’Donnell took to Fox News last night to announce her support for Mitt Romney. However, she followed through with an interview on CNN today in which she defended the erstwhile frontrunner from charges of flip-flopping.
“He’s been consistent since he changed his mind,” she told CNN’s Carol Costello. “He’s humble enough to say ‘I don’t always have the right answers,’ and he’s open to other viewpoints, and if it doesn’t betray his core convictions, he’ll make the necessary changes,” she said.
