The National Republican Congressional Committee’s (NRCC) website was hacked this weekend to display Viagra and Cialis ads, as Buzzfeed’s Evan McMorris-Santoro reported Saturday.

The ads appear to flood the “nrcc.org” homepage with a string of links that run the length of the page. As of this article’s posting, the links are still live.

The NRCC unveiled the newly redesigned website a month ago using BuzzFeed’s site as a model including list-type posts, shorter links, and a sidebar that lists ‘popular’ items. For example: “13 Animals That Are Really Bummed on ObamaCare’s Third Birthday.”

Update: An NRCC spokesman tells TPM that the site has been fixed.
