TAMPA, Fla. — Rep, Pete Sessions (R-TX) told delegates at the Republican convention here Tuesday that the party will grow its majority in the House after the November elections.

“The Republican message that won us the majority in 2010 – implementing free enterprise policies that create jobs, cutting spending and repealing Obamacare – will continue to allow us to grow our House Majority, to take back the Senate and make Mitt Romney the next President of the United States,” Sessions said in a prepared version of his remarks sent to reporters.

The PollTracker Average shows Democrats leading in the congressional generic ballot by a margin of 43.7 to 41.4.
