The National Rifle Association released a target practice app for iPhones and iPads on the eve of the one-month anniversary of the Newtown, Conn., massacre.

The “NRA: Practice Range” app — which has a 4+ rating, meaning it contains “no objectionable material” — was released on Sunday and is a free download. The app, according to its description in Apple’s App Store, offers “a 3D shooting game that instills safe and responsible ownership through fun challenges and realistic simulations. It strikes the right balance of gaming and safety education, allowing you to enjoy the most authentic experience possible.”
