According to the News & Observer, Broyhill previously worked with Jamie Hahn at Sky Blue Strategies. Broyhill will be served the arrest warrants when he is released from WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh, where he is receiving treatment for self-inflicted stabbing wounds. Police found Broyhill at the Hahns’ home when they responded to a 911 call on Monday night.

The firm’s website indicates that it’s worked on behalf of the North Carolina Democratic Party and the Coalition to Protect All NC Families, the group that led the opposition to the state’s constitutional ban on same-sex marriage that passed last year.
