No Explosives Found On Afghan Ablaze During Panetta Landing

The Pentagon is not considering an incident in Afghanistan during Leon Panetta’s arrival an attack on the defense secretary, the New York Times reports. A stolen truck sped onto a runway ramp at the British military airfield Panetta landed at, and a man emerged from the vehicle in flames. No explosives were found on the man or the vehicle, the Times reports. Earlier reports suggested that the vehicle exploded into flames.
