‘Nightly Show’ Asks If Cops Think They’re Playing Call Of Duty When Policing (VIDEO)

“The Nightly Show” suggested on Thursday night’s episode that local police think they’re playing video games instead of policing.

Local police have become more militarized following acquisitions of weapons like resistant trucks, grenade launchers and sirens loud enough to cause permanent ear damage, among other things.

“That’s the kind of equipment our local cops have? What is this? Call of Duty: The ‘Burbs?” Wilmore said.
