Closing out the NBC debate, Newt Gingrich said: “I believe that whoever the next president is, if we’re going to get America back on the right track, is going to face enormous problems.”

He then said that it would not be enough for people to simply be against others, to get the necessary work done.

“I ask you to be with me, because i think this will be a very difficult, very difficult journey. And I find it a very humbling, very sobering thought to get America back on track, despite all of our entrenched elites, and entrenched bureaucracies.”
