On CNN’s State of the Union Sunday morning, Newt Gingrich said that he doubted President Obama’s commitment to Israel. He said that the president doesn’t appear willing to stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons or of allowing Israel to preemptively protect itself against Iran. “They talk and the Iranians build, they talk and the Iranian’s build,” Gingrich said. “Israel’s such a small country, it is so compact,” he continued, “that two or three nuclear weapons would be the equivalent of a second Holocaust.”
