Jon Tester and his wife Sharla appear in a new positive campaign ad for the Montana Senator based on the theme of looking out for the next generation. In the ad, Jon and Sharla talk about generations working on the land in Montana and use this to segue into how to take care of the next generation. Tester lists an agenda which includes the deficit, education, college affordability, Social Security and Medicare.

“Caring as deeply about the next generation as the people who came before cared about us,” says Sharla. “Now that’s the Montana way.” Jon adds: “worry a lot more about the next generation needs to be the American way again too.”

Tester is running for reelection against Republican Rep. Denny Rehberg. This is Tester’s sixth ad of the cycle. The ad buy is about $60,000 statewide on broadcast and cable, according to a Democratic source that tracks media buys.
